Aihara Ichigo is an ordinary, sporty and normal Student Council President at her school. But she didn't know that very soon, her life was going to change forever. Ichigo was playing soccer with the soccer club, until she heard a voice calling her name. She ran off the field and found a little dog, lying on the ground, hurt. Ichigo took the dog to her house where she tried to heal it, however, the dog was healed very quickly and began talking! The dog said that the human medicine didn't help her, but Ichigo's love for weddings did. Suddenly, an evil commander of Midnight, Antaeus, had attacked with a monster called a Namida. The dog, whose name was Peach, said that only Ichigo can stop the Namida. How will Ichigo do it?

Ichigo has transformed into a legendary warrior, a Pretty Cure, called Cure Rose, with the help of Peach. Ichigo has been told by Peach to keep the Pretty Cure thing a secret, and Ichigo seems to be doing a great job of it, however, her childhood friend, the Secretary Suzuki Ayano has discovered Ichigo is hiding a secret. Suddenly, another commander of Midnight, Circe, has arrived and turned Ayano into a Namida! Ichigo wants to save Ayano, but her identity will be revealed to Ayano because she is just in a different form! How will Ichigo save Ayano?

Ichigo has decided to reveal her identity as Cure Rose and successfully saved Ayano, however Ayano punished Ichigo for not telling her by making her to eat all of her vegetables for a week. Ayano is learning more about Ichigo's new powers, but a cat-like fairy, named Shimmer, has arrived and said that like Ichigo, Ayano's love for weddings is so great, that she has the ability to become a Pretty Cure. But Ayano refuses, and says that she won't risk her life as a Pretty Cure. But a new commander, named Sisyphus, has arrived and is attacking with a Namida. Ichigo transforms, but is struggling to defeat the Namida. Ayano is still given a decision. Will she become a Pretty Cure, or will she stay as a human?
